Good stocking stuffers for her are small things she will use long after Christmas morning: a leather pouch for her bag, a narrow belt, a bag charm. Ours cost $40 to $170, and each one fits in a standard Christmas stocking. Leather pieces are the Anna Pouch ($120) and the Diane and Mark belts ($130–170); the charms are crochet or metal. If you cannot choose, a $100 gift card arrives by email.
What fits in a stocking
A typical Christmas stocking is about 40–50 cm (15.7–19.7 in) long and narrows toward the toe. Flat pieces slide in easily; a belt goes in coiled. Anything boxy and wider than about 20 cm (7.9 in) is better under the tree.

The leather pieces
Anna Pouch, $120. A long, flat calfskin pouch with a zip. It lies at the bottom of a tote and takes lipstick, mascara, a compact, hand cream and a small perfume, with a long inner pocket for a mirror or tissues. Smooth black leather does not show powder marks. It also fits the stocking flat, which makes it the easiest leather stuffer to wrap.
Diane belt, $130. A narrow 1 cm (0.4 in) calfskin belt with a classic rectangular buckle, in black or brown. It defines the waist of a shirt dress, a long knit or a blazer.
Mark belt, $160–170. The same length, with an elongated gold-tone bar buckle that sits like one straight line at the waist. The 10 mm version is for dresses and high-waisted trousers without loops; the 15 mm version goes through the loops of most jeans and trousers.

How to choose a belt without knowing her size
Both belts are 130 cm (51.2 in) long without the buckle and have nine holes, so the fit is forgiving. Look at the belts she already wears. If they are thin and go over dresses and knits, choose Diane or Mark 10 mm. If they go through jeans loops, choose Mark 15 mm. Black goes with gray, navy and black; brown with denim, camel and cream.
The charms and the pouches that are not leather
Not every small piece we make is leather, and we would rather say so. Mare and Limone are crochet charms in cotton yarn, a white spiral shell and a yellow lemon with a green leaf. They hang from a bag handle, a key ring or a makeup bag, and at $40 they are the smallest gift we have.
The Heart Mirror Charm, $120, is a gold-tone metal heart on an adjustable black cord. Inside is a small mirror with the words You Are The Love. She can wear it as a necklace or tie it to a bag.
The Make-up Pouch is a boxy zip pouch in eco-leather ($170, black or brown) or milky cotton ($150). It is deeper than Anna, so it takes small bottles and a phone charger, and it is better for travel.
A stuffer that goes with a bigger gift

Delivery on poelle.com is free and duties are included. Pieces in stock in the US arrive in 1–2 business days, so order by December 21; pieces from our atelier in Ukraine take 5–7 business days. Each piece comes in our box with tissue paper and a ribbon, and there is no receipt with prices in the parcel.
