Poelle is poetry rendered in leather. The name brings together Poetry, Pelle — Italian for “leather” — and Elle, “she”.
An independent house of accessories with its own atelier in Ukraine. We create pieces that outlast the seasons: pure form and handcraft that stays with you for years.

Pavlo Popko and Petro Lyshak
Founded Poelle in 2021 in their hometown of Horodok, near Lviv. Pavlo was making leather accessories while still at school and later studied at the Academy of Arts. Petro built the system the brand stands on.

Poelle: leather bags made by hand in Ukraine
Poelle is a Ukrainian brand of women's bags and accessories in natural leather and suede. It was founded in 2021 by Pavlo Popko and Petro Lyshak in Horodok, a small town in the Lviv region of Ukraine. The Poelle atelier is still there: every bag is cut, stitched and checked by hand under one roof, from the first pattern to the last stitch.
The name joins three words: Poetry, Pelle (Italian for "leather") and Elle ("she"). That is the idea behind the bags too: a simple form that carries meaning, made to be worn every day for years rather than for one season.
Each collection begins as a dialogue with art. L'Art de Vivre, Stilleven, Color Field, Papier Collé, Blue Velvet, Dolce Far Niente and Art of Love each started from a painting, a film or a mood that stayed with us. Poelle has also made a collaboration with the COAT.
Poelle ships from its own websites: poelle.com for the United States and many other countries, poelle.uk for the United Kingdom, poelle.eu and poelle.pl for the European Union, and poelle.ua for Ukraine. Shipping on poelle.com and poelle.uk is complimentary, with duties and taxes included in the price. Every piece carries a one-year warranty from the day of delivery.

Natural leather and natural suede; the olive Untitled is genuine leather with a patent finish. Linings are eco-leather or textile, and the hardware is gold-tone metal.
